Dance Unlimited has had its fair share of media
exposure. We have appeared on documentaries on Arts Central as
well as a music video on Mediacorp 5, entitled, “New Beat of 5”.
Salsa with “New Beat of 5”
“New Beat of 5” is a 2:30 minute music commercial for Mediacorp
5. Out of which, Dance Unlimited was to dance some Salsa alongside
celebrities who had to be taught to dance Salsa within an hour.
The dedicated performance team members were required to film
into wee hours of the week day morning.
The resident instructor of Dance Unlimited, Suman, was tasked to
choreograph the whole dance and provide a Salsa crash course for
the celebrities.

Salsa on Arts Central
Dance Unlimited has also appeared on Arts Central’s documentaries
and reality shows such as, “Dance Destination” and “Party guide
for an Urbanite”.
A full day shoot was required for the 5-part series of “Dance
Destination”, a documentary that unites different genres of
dance, such as Salsa, Tango and Ballet, with an overriding theme
of romance. Dance Unlimited crew worked in close collaboration with the
production house right from the pitching stage to the post
production stage.
“Party guide for an Urbanite” was an exciting reality show that
involved one of Dance Unlimited’s salsera on a 2 day shoot just to
prepare for a Salsa party. The rest of Dance Unlimited turned up
at the Salsa party and danced the night away.
In fact, in a later episode, the resident
instructor of Dance Unlimited, Suman, was featured preparing for a Japanese-themed
house party.
